Aguero charged with violent conduct by FA

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association, following his elbow on West Ham United defender, Winston Reid.

The City ‘striker caught Reid during Sunday’s meeting between the two sides; however, referee Andre Marriner did not see the incident, leading the FA into taking retrospective action.

Aguero could face a three-match ban, including the high profile Manchester derby on 10September.

The Argentine is Manchester City’s top scorer this season, with three goals in three Premier league games.
